Matt joined me today to help pick up from 2 of our "regular" parishes. First we went to Sacred Heart in Merrick. Ann, Kathy and Katie were in today and it was lovely to see thier smiling faces. Sacred Heart is alway very generous. Next we made our way to St. Ignatius of Loyola in Hicksville. MaryAnn had a shopping cart full of food for us. She was moved by the pictures of Haiti. Its been a fewcweeks since I have been able to help. I have been traveling or recuperating. Finally got to drive today after 6 weeks. Charlie can relate! One of the first things I did? Go to Charlie's. Dennis, Charlie and I worked on "begging" letters. Charlie writes the letters and Dennis and I got them ready for mailing.
