Solar System installed in Fr. Jude's house.

The joyous celebration of Baptism. Welcome to God's family.

MARCH WAS AN EXTREMELY BUSY MONTH!

April 1, 2026

TAX DONATION LETTERS- These were sent out to you with the February newsletter. If you donate through a 3rd party you need to contact the 3rd party, PayPal, Zelle or Venmo. If you can't find the letter please call our treasurer Eileen Garbe at 631-884-5171. If your donation sheet is incorrect you can also call her. We do apologize for any errors that were not done on purpose- We Love you!

MASSES FOR FR JUDE- Each Mass is $10.00. You can put 6 masses together for one $10.00 charge. Fr Jude is a very poor Catholic Priest. He relies on your mass stipend money. Last month someone gave me $10.00 but had 6 names attached. I only sent 1 name to Fr Jude. In my Parish each Mass costs $25.00 so I think the $10.00 I ask for is very fair.

SOLAR SYSTEM_ In December I asked for $10,000 to put a solar system in the Rectory of Fr Jude’s House. You were extremely gracious in donating the whole amount. Fr Jude is so grateful he now has HOT WATER in his shower, he has a refrigerator that runs, a stove he can cook on all because of YOU! We take so much for granted. But he prays for you every day because you have given him a nice place to live! I’ve enclosed some pictures.

BAPTISM PROGRAM_ Last Thursday we had another 35 children Baptized. I've enclosed pictures for you to see. It was a beautiful day. The Parents are so grateful to FRIAR SUPPLIERS for paying for the Baptisms. We have not raised enough to pay for all the Baptism. I still need another $400.00 to completely pay the bill.

PEANUT BUTTER PROGRAM-- Is one of our best on going programs! Each day we are making 750 peanut butter sandwiches. We have not missed one day since September 1 of last year. We have 8 people that assemble every morning at 4 am to get the sandwiches made by 8am. By the grace of God and you we will continue this program next year. Letters to the key families that helped will go out in June. It cost $81,000 to do this project for the year, so it's not a cheap project but every kid gets breakfast every day. So I think it's worth it!

Every day in Haiti we need 50 jars of peanut butter, 250 per week or 1,000 jars of peanut butter per month. I try to send as much peanut butter as I can from my house in Lindenhurst. MARIA REGINA CATHOLIC CHURCH and FAITH FORMATION in Seaford did a Parish wide and Faith Formation wide collection under the supervision of Patrick and Colleen Burns. They collected a WHOPPING 1,890 jars of peanut butter!. That’s enough for almost 2 months! Also St Edward the Confessor did a peanut butter collection and collected 100 jars. Our Lady of Guadalupe collected another 100 jars! Every jar I send is one less that I have to buy in Haiti. When they don’t have it we have to buy it. St Joseph, through you, always pays the bill.

ARE YOU SHIPPING ME PEANUT BUTTER? I really appreciate all the people who have been shipping me peanut butter. I NEED THE LABEL TO SAY:
