“THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER IN HAITI”
In my December letter I talked about my hopes by Christmas, and you totally surpassed my hopes! By December 8 I informed Fr Jude that he was getting his SOLAR SYSTEM plus I gave him ab extra $4,000 to doing finishing touches to the Rectory was beyond happy. He even bought a vacuum for $400 to keep the rectory clean!
Corn Grinders- If you remember the storer wanted $92 each for the grinders. We offered them $2400 for 3 of them CASH . They took it immediately! The ladies that grind the corn we Were very happy as these were more superior than the ones we had before!
THE NEW TOO; SCHOOL- It will be done in 3 different sections. First we must get rid of all the years of saving stuff. Boss Gesner like to save stuff and I live by the 3-month rule- If you haven’t used it in 3 MONTHS- Get rid of it!. I sent him $20,000 this month to start with the cleanup. He will send me pictures which I will share with you as they come in. He will empty the building out. Because there is no garbage pickup at all in Haiti we will burn the garbage.
The walls in the building will be reinforced with concrete. New doors and locks will be put on the building. Outside the building will be cleaned up and made beautiful. A nice sign will be installed so all will know the purpose of this building and who paid for it- FRIAR SUPPLIERS!
The 2nd step will be installing desks for students to use plus getting equipment. From all the years of Friar Suppliers doing construction work in Haiti we have tools. We will take the tools from our tool room and use those. This was they will get used rather than just sitting in our tool room not being used!
This year we were able to send $84,000 to Haiti all because if you. I’m going to itemize it so you can see how wonderful you really are!

Christmas bonus, Manny Jean Lahrens who works in our orphanage gets $150 per month for working in the orphanage. $900 for 6 months
Fr Jude recieved $800 in Mass Stipends for month of December. he will keep $150 for his food and use the other $650 to buy food for his parishioners!
So I like to be very transparent with you so you can see how I spend your money, There were a couple other small things but this is the list of it. You have made Haitians very happy this Christmas with all the food being given out to so many poor, elderly, and students ! So I thank you in Jesus name for everything! I have special thank you going out to some of you this month! I love each and every one of you!
In Jesus Name,
Charlie Moran
